1. Permitted Use & Educational Scope
AnimalIDFinder is provided exclusively for personal, non-commercial, educational, and observational nature discovery purposes. You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international wildlife protection laws and regulations.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Upload images depicting animal cruelty, illegal poaching, or harmful exploitation of wildlife.
- Use the service to locate endangered species for unauthorized harvesting, hunting, or poaching activities.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt our servers and vision API infrastructure.
- Rely on the tool as professional veterinary or emergency medical advice.
3. Intellectual Property Rights & User Uploads
Your Photos: You retain full ownership and copyright of any photographs you upload. By submitting an image for identification, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license solely to process and analyze the image for identification during your session.
Platform Content: All custom illustrations, text summaries, taxonomic layouts, visual branding, and code on AnimalIDFinder are the proprietary intellectual property of AnimalIDFinder and protected by copyright laws.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE IDENTIFICATIONS, TAXONOMIC CLASSIFICATIONS, OR SAFETY RATINGS ARE FREE FROM ERROR.
5. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL ANIMALIDFINDER, ITS OPERATORS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS, INJURIES, ANIMAL BITES, OR RELIANCE ON IDENTIFICATION RESULTS.
6. Multilingual Content & Machine Translation Disclaimer
AnimalIDFinder is offered in 15 languages (English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Dutch, Korean, Turkish, Indonesian). Content translations and localized telemetry are generated for informational convenience. While Latin scientific binomial taxonomy (Genus species) remains universally authoritative, translations of common names, diagnostic descriptions, and safety advisories may experience dialectal nuances or semantic variances. Users must verify critical safety precautions through local wildlife and health authorities.
